By creating an account or using NiniBite, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our service.

3. Description of Service

NiniBite is an AI-powered baby nutrition assistant that provides evidence-based guidance on infant feeding, meal planning, food allergies, choking hazards, and growth tracking. Our service uses data from USDA FoodData Central, CDC growth charts (based on WHO Child Growth Standards), and curated pediatric nutrition guidelines.

3.1 Content License Grant

When you submit content to the Service (including baby profile data, feeding logs, allergen entries, growth measurements, doctor visit records, chat messages, and saved recipes), you grant NiniBite a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and any caregivers you have expressly authorized. This license lasts only as long as you keep your account active — deleting your account or the specific content ends the license (see our Privacy Policy for retention details). You retain all ownership rights in the content you submit; nothing in this Section transfers ownership to NiniBite.

4. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and baby profiles
• One account per person — sharing accounts is not permitted

5. Subscription Plans

NiniBite offers a free Starter plan and a paid Premium plan. Features and limits for each plan are described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify plan features with reasonable notice.

• Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal
• Upon cancellation, you retain Premium access until the end of your current billing period
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use NiniBite as a replacement for professional medical advice
• Attempt to manipulate, exploit, or bypass the AI assistant's safety guidelines
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorized access
• Use automated tools to send excessive requests to the service
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or unrelated to baby nutrition

7. AI-Generated Content

NiniBite uses artificial intelligence to generate nutrition guidance. While we strive for accuracy by grounding responses in evidence-based sources (USDA, CDC, FDA), AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We recommend cross-referencing important information with your pediatrician.

8. Limitation of Liability

NiniBite is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to health outcomes based on AI-generated guidance. Your use of NiniBite's nutritional information is at your own risk.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which will permanently remove all your data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of NiniBite after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes by email.
